Published experimental release of an open implementation of the Win32 API – Wine 11.13. Since the release of 11.12, 22 bug reports have been closed and 207 changes have been made.
The most important changes:
- Improved positioning of the text cursor while typing.
- Improved mapping of key scancodes when using X11.
- FFmpeg components integrated into Wine, such as libswresample (audio sampling rate change) and libswscale (image scaling and pixel format conversion) libraries, have been added with assembly optimizations for the ARM64EC (ARM64 Emulation Compatible) architecture. The ARM64EC architecture is designed to simplify the porting of applications originally written for x86_64 systems to ARM64 systems, and allows individual x86_64 code modules to run in the ARM64 environment using an emulator.
