Published experimental release of an open implementation of the Win32 API – Wine 11.4. Since the release of 11.3, 17 bug reports have been closed and 211 changes have been made.
The most important changes:
- Continued development of the msxml3 library (Microsoft® XML Core Services), required for the product installer. Adobe Cloud, including Adobe Photoshop. In msxml3, support for the SAX Reader software interface has been added, which implements an event-based model for processing XML documents, which allows you to avoid loading the entire XML document into memory by generating detection events XML structures during streaming document reading.
- In the DirectSound implementation, operations for changing the sampling rate are optimized.
- An initial implementation of the CFGMGR32 library, used to manage device configuration, is proposed. Added calls: CM_Get_Class_Property_Keys, CM_Get_Device_Interface_List, CM_Get_Device_Interface_Property, CM_Get_Device_Interface_Property_Keys, as well as handlers for working with device properties.
- Improved time mapping to time zones.
- Closed error reports, related to the operation of applications: Xara Xtreme 4, Explorer++, CodeGear RAD Studio 2009, FL Studio 12.4, Janetter 4.1.1.0, Xilinx Vivado 2014.4, iZotope, Native Access 2, ROMCenter, SSFpres.
- Closed error reports related to the operation of games: Gag, Roblox Studio.
