In Ukraine since the beginning of the pandemic coronavirus recorded more than two thousand cases of re-infection COVID-19 reports RBC-Ukraine citing the Public Health Center.
In particular, healthcare workers account for 12 percent of re-infections.
A repeated positive PCR test result, obtained after 40 days from the first confirmation, was found in 2,161 people, of which 250 are medical workers.
December 15 it became known that the average number of hospitalized people has sharply jumped in Ukraine with COVID-19. At the end of the past week, the indicator reached its maximum for the entire period of the epidemic – 2330 people.
Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic in Ukraine, 919 704 infected with COVID-19 have been identified, 15 744 have died of coronavirus, 535 417 patients have recovered. The situation with the spread of infection in the country remains tense, with strict quarantine restrictions imposed from January 8 to 24.
