Greek tanker blew up off the coast of Saudi Arabiareports Reuters citing the British security company Ambrey.
The explosion occurred within the port and pierced the ship’s hull. The Agrari tanker flew under the Maltese flag, but belonged to the Greek company TMS Tankers.
It is indicated that the explosion occurred near the kingdom’s border with Yemen in the Red Sea. According to sources, the ship was “attacked.” The British company suggested that the tanker was blown up by a mine. Al Jazeera points out that Saudi officials were also on board. According to preliminary data, no one was injured as a result of the incident.
