ReactOS Now Supports Half-Life, Unreal Tournament 2004

The developers of ReactOS, an open operating system designed to be compatible with Microsoft Windows programs and drivers, have recently achieved a major milestone. They announced that ReactOS can now run the popular Half-Life game, a significant accomplishment for the project.

The successful launch of Half-Life on ReactOS was demonstrated on real hardware, specifically a Dell OptiPlex 990 PC equipped with an Intel Core i5-2400 CPU, 1 GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS video card. This achievement follows closely on the heels of ReactOS being able to run another game, Unreal Tournament 2004, just a few days earlier.
