For months, everyone wants to ward off this fatality, but the maturity approach and the polls have the hard tooth. Jean-Luc Mélenchon believes in the possibility of accessing the second round, pushed by an “effective vote”. In opinion surveys, they are widely disinterested in a second round where they would not have a representative. According to the last edition of the survey conducted by Ipsos-Sopra Steria in partnership with the Sciences Po Political Research Center (CEVIPOF) and the Jean Jaurès Foundation for [Nute], on February 11, in case of second round Macron-le Pen, much of them would not vote. Some 59% of the voters of Jean-Luc Mélenchon (France unsuitable, LFI), 53% of those of Fabien Roussel (French Communist Party, PCF) could abstain or vote white. In the partisans of Jean-Luc Mélenchon, the Macron-Zemmour hypothesis arouses even greater abstention, up to 62%. And a fraction of the surveyed some to vote for MM.
