First Deputy Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (KhMAO) Gennady Bukhtin died in a Moscow clinic at the age of 60, he was undergoing treatment for coronavirus. This was reported by TASS on Saturday, January 9th.
“It is correct to say that the consequences caused by the coronavirus and the complications of concomitant diseases affected,” said the Director of the Department of Public and External Relations of Ugra Elena Shumakova .
On December 4, Bukhtin, in serious condition, was transported to Moscow by special flight, writes Znak.com. Doctors diagnosed him with acute respiratory failure.
In the government of the Bukhtin district since 2010, he was in charge of key areas: the department of state property, state order, department of labor and employment, economy and finance.
