In the Trans-Baikal Territory, a soldier from one of the local units beat his colleague and broke his lower jaw after he was late for a meeting in a cafe. This was reported on Saturday, December 26, citing the press service of the Borzin Garrison Military Court, the publication “Taiga.info” .
According to the investigation, last July, a serviceman broke his colleague’s lower jaw without displacement of the bone processes due to the latter being late in a cafe. The court qualified the victim’s “bilateral fracture of the articular processes of the lower jaw” as a moderate injury.
During the investigation, the victim filed an application to terminate the criminal case, since the accused admitted his guilt, apologized and compensated for moral damage. As noted in the court, the victim has no “material and moral claims” against the accused. In this regard, the criminal case was terminated due to the reconciliation of the parties.
