UK and EU agree on final “divorce”

The parties managed to agree on all the main aspects of relations after December 31, when the transition period expires. One of the main documents in the framework of the general agreement was the trade agreement, which provides for the mutual absence of duties and quotas.

Also, the agreement affects the legal and law enforcement spheres. Thus, the European Court of Justice will have no power in resolving disputes between the UK and the EU, and the parties will exchange tax and police data.
