Published release of SQLite 3.54, a lightweight DBMS designed as a plug-in library. The SQLite code is distributed as a public domain, i.e. may be used without restrictions and free of charge for any purpose. Financial support for SQLite developers is provided by a specially created consortium.
Main changes:
- Optimizations have been carried out, allowing speedtest1 to pass by about 4% compared to the previous one version and by 7.5% compared to the release 3.51 a year ago. Results may vary depending on the type of load, build options, CPU, compiler and operating system.
- The sqlite utility provides the ability to use escape sequences
