Apple will present its own electric car

Apple may present its own electric car as early as next year, according to Economic Daily .

The source of the publication noted that Taiwanese manufacturers (Heda, BizLink-KY, Heqin and Tomita) are going to increase the pace of production of components for electric vehicles in the second quarter of 2021. According to preliminary data, these companies will become suppliers of parts for Apple Car.

Prototypes of an electric vehicle are undergoing secret tests in California, and its presentation may take place in September next year, the newspaper writes. Apple received permission to conduct tests back in 2017.

The company planned to launch its first electric car into production in 2019, but That did not happen. The project was codenamed Titan (“Titan”). For its implementation, the staff was increased from 600 to 1800 people. Apple had no plans to make its first electric car fully autonomous.
