United States released data on an attempt to stage a new terrorist attack on September 11

American prosecutors have accused a Kenyan citizen of planning the September 11 attack on a skyscraper in the United States. As reported by The New York Times citing the Prosecutor’s Office of Manhattan, New York, Cholo Abdi Abdullah is a member of the Somali terrorist group.

According to the published data, the suspect tried to undergo pilot training, learned about the shortcomings in the airport security system and was preparing to hijack a civilian aircraft in order to commit a terrorist attack. In which city and on which building the attack was planned is not specified.

Abdullah will be sentenced in federal court in Manhattan on Wednesday, December 16.
