In the UK, a 17-year-old teenager strangled his own mother, and then stabbed her 118 times. After that, he called the emergency services and asked them to bring a body bag. The Daily Mail writes about it.

He then strangled her, convinced that the woman had lost consciousness, and stabbed her in the head 38, 64 in the neck and 16 in the arm. This happened in July this year, but the court hearing was held only on December 14. It was supposed to take place in October, but a few days before the appointed date, the teenager was found dead in the ward of a psychiatric hospital.
According to law enforcement officers, the boy changed sex, becoming asexual, and changed his name from Ben to Rowan. He also showed signs of depression and suicidal behavior.
The teenager’s father insists that he did not kill himself and did not kill his mother on purpose, but because of psychological problems that intensified during his studies at a private school.
