Iran warns Israel and US against “adventures” after assassination of a nuclear physicist

Iran warned Israel and the US against “adventures” after the assassination of the head of a research and innovation organization at Ministry of Defense of the country of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh. This was stated by Iran’s Permanent Representative at UN Majid Takht-Ravanchi, reports RIA Novosti .

The Iranian diplomat in his address to the UN Secretary General noted that Iran reserves the right to take all necessary measures “to protect its people and their interests.” He also demanded that the UN condemn the “cowardly murder” of a nuclear physicist and take action against the perpetrators of this terrorist act.

Earlier chapter MFA Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif stated that the Iranian authorities believe that Israel was involved in the assassination of Fakhrizade. He added that “this dastardly act, where there is strong evidence of Israel’s role, shows the desperation of the criminals in inciting war.”
