A 9-year-old child disappeared and spent two nights in woods without shoes or a jacket

Rescuers found a nine-year-old boy from the American city of Ashland City, Tennessee, who disappeared from his home and spent two days in the woods without shoes and a jacket, according to CNN.

Parents last saw nine-year-old Jordan Gorman on Sunday, November 15th and organized a search for the child. Numerous search teams combed the densely overgrown area near their home.

On Tuesday, November 17, rescuers found the boy less than a kilometer from his residence. He was in the stream bed under a cover he had built from a tarp he found. When the child was found, he was not wearing a jacket or shoes.

Jordan’s parents were happy when he was found. “He knew he had to stay put and someone would come,” said the boy’s father, Aaron Hatt. The American stressed that during the absence of his son, the temperature in this area dropped to two degrees Celsius.

Doctors examined the child. “Frozen and hungry, but at the same time in a good mood!” – reported in the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. The police are trying to establish what happened before the child disappeared.

Earlier it was reported that in the US Floyd County, Kentucky, they found a little boy after four days of searching. The search operation involved helicopters, tracking dogs and unmanned aerial vehicles.
