Linux Kernel 7.2.6: 1,815 Patches in Maintenance Update

Greg Kroah-Hartman, in charge of maintaining the stable and staging branches of the Linux kernel, recently reported a significant number of fixes proposed in the latest Linux kernel releases. The largest update, version 7.2.6, included 1815 patches, marking a new record. The total number of patches across all corrective updates released simultaneously amounted to 9057.
