Today, November 15, 2020, within the framework of the thematic vocational guidance session “Profile techno teams” in the Zvezdny camp, a meeting of its participants with the pilot-cosmonaut, Hero of the Russian Federation Valery Tokarev took place. This shift is carried out with the support of industrial partners, one of which is the State Corporation Roscosmos.
The cosmonaut told the children what competencies are needed on board the International Space Station, about the daily routine in low-Earth orbit and possible emergency situations. Valery Tokarev answered the questions of the “eaglet” about how he came to cosmonautics, what accompanied him on this long-term path and how the selection for astronauts proceeds.
This weekend, Orlyonok also hosts the SkillsDays festival, which was attended by the “eaglets” from the Specialized Technological Squads shift. Over the course of two days, guys from eight teams will be able to try themselves in a wide variety of competencies: industrial robotics, CAD engineering design and electrical installation, attend classes on entrepreneurship and recruiting. In addition, they will have the opportunity to learn about teaching English online.
The thematic vocational guidance session “Profile techno brigades”, held from 5 to 25 November 2020 on the basis of the Zvezdny camp of the Orlyonok All-Russian Children’s Center, gathered more than 100 children from 4 regions who came to get acquainted with the basics of professions and acquire useful skills. immersed in the world of WorldSkills competencies.
