Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin reacted to the death of the actor Vladimir Korenev , known for his leading role in the movie “Amphibian Man”. This is reported on the website of the Russian government.
Mishustin expressed his deep condolences over the death of the people’s artist. The prime minister noted that the actor devoted himself without reserve to the Stanislavsky Theater, to the audience and students. He added that Korenev had a rare talent and a unique master of reincarnation, and was also organic and convincing in any way.
“Nobility, gallantry, sincerity – these are the qualities that distinguished the heroes of Vladimir Korenev. And each role was close and understandable, striking in its depth. And therefore films and performances with his participation were very popular and loved by viewers of various generations”, – Mishustin noted.
The head of government said that the actor will be remembered as an outstanding, benevolent and warm-hearted person, endlessly devoted to his profession and art.

He was born on June 20, 1940 in Sevastopol. In addition to acting in theaters and cinema, he was a teacher. During his last year at GITIS, the artist got a role in the film Vladimir Chebotarev “Human -amphibian “, thanks to which he became famous.
