Soviet car put up for sale for 26 million

The Soviet ZIS-110 limousine was put up for sale in Tver for 26 million rubles. The announcement appeared on the site auto.ru.

“The most significant, one of the most valuable Soviet executive cars, the price of which is constantly growing today,” wrote the seller. “This copy was completely restored in Moscow several years ago, and is in excellent condition.”

From the announcement it follows that the car was produced in 1950, does not require repair and is registered with Traffic police . Among the technical characteristics of the limousine are a 6-liter engine with a capacity of 140 horsepower, a manual transmission and a rear-wheel drive. The seller claims that the car has traveled only 30 thousand kilometers in more than 70 years.

ZIS-110 is the first Soviet post-war car. It was produced from 1945 to 1958 and during this time only 2089 copies rolled off the assembly line.
