General dismissed by Zelensky said about drop in morale in Ukrainian army

Ukrainian General Sergei Krivonos, dismissed by the President Vladimir Zelensky from the post of Deputy Secretary The National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), announced a drop in morale in the army of the republic, reports UNIAN a >.

Kryvonos spoke about the attitude of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) to the ceasefire regime proclaimed in Donbas. According to him, politicians are not understood at the front.

“It’s a big disappointment that people went to war to fight, but they are forbidden to do it. Therefore, there is a drop in morale in the Armed Forces and an outflow of specialists,” said the former NSDC deputy secretary.

Over the past three years, more than 79 thousand people have quit the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Kryvonos continued, and not all of them are capable of “etching the spirit of a warrior out of themselves.”

“It’s good if they find themselves in civilian life and can realize themselves in normal work. And those who have not realized themselves are just a big problem,” the general added.

Krivonos fired after he criticized Zelensky’s words about general mobilization in the event of a full-scale war with Russia.

The regime of a complete and comprehensive ceasefire in the Donbas entered into force at midnight on July 27. Ukraine, Russia and OSCE agreed on it within the framework of the Trilateral Contact Group. This is the 21st attempt to honor an indefinite ceasefire agreement.
