Ambassador of Belarus to United States appointed for first time in 12 years dies

Kravchenko was born in 1971 in Minsk. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Belarusian State University, postgraduate studies at the Institute of Philosophy and Law of the National Academy of Sciences . He first joined the diplomatic service in 1994.

The cause of death of the Deputy Foreign Minister has not been reported.

Former former presidential candidate in Belarus Svetlana Tikhanovskaya turned to Joe Biden and congratulated him on his victory in the US presidential election. The politician noted that many Belarusians living in the United States voted for him, and expressed confidence that under his leadership, relations between the two countries would improve. “I believe that the newly elected US president will soon meet with the honestly elected president of the new free Belarus,” Tikhanovskaya said.
