Fate of Samsung Galaxy Note revealed

Samsung will continue to release Galaxy Note smartphones. A company source told Yonhap on condition of anonymity.

“We are preparing to release a new Galaxy Note series smartphone next year,” said the agency’s source. The journalists also referred to the message of the president and head of the mobile division of Samsung Electronics Tae Moon Ro (TM Roh). On December 16, the corporation’s top manager hinted to reporters that the company intends to continue the release of two flagship lines – Galaxy S and Galaxy Note.

Industry representatives interviewed by reporters have revealed some information regarding the future flagships of the Korean company. According to them, there is no need to worry about the fate of a series of productive smartphones with a large screen. Sources believe Samsung will launch new Galaxy S and Galaxy Note devices in 2021, with stylus support from the first line.

Samsung introduced the first Galaxy Note series smartphone in 2011. Typically, a South Korean corporation releases the flagships of the line in the second half of the year. The current device of the Note family is the Galaxy Note20 announced in August 2020.

ETNews sources said in December that Samsung is no longer planning to release new Galaxy Note devices. Earlier information about this was published by the network insider Ice Universe, who did not see the corresponding series of smartphones in the list of smartphones planned for 2021.
