The former Minister of the Interior Claude Guéant, 77, was granted a parole and must leave the health prison on Wednesday, announced Monday, February 7 his lawyer.

The former Director General of the National Police, which was also Secretary General of the Elysee under the chairmanship of Nicolas Sarkozy, was incarcerated since December 13.
