COVID-19: France exceeds 500,000 cases of contamination screened in twenty-four hours

According to the figures published Tuesday, January 25 by Public Health France (SPF), 501,635 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in twenty-four hours – an increase of about 30% over the last fourteen days, and never seen since the beginning of the pandemic.

At the hospital, 30,189 patients are currently taken care of because of the coronavirus, a figure that had not been achieved since April 2021. Critical care services (including those of resuscitation) deal with 3,741 Patients severely affected by coronavirus – slightly down 1% on fourteen days.
