Sanctions of the European Union (EU) against Belarus will affect Belarusian exports of energy and petrochemical products by 250-300 million dollars a year. This was stated by the deputy head of the Presidential Administration of Belarus Dmitry Cool on the air of the television channel “Belarus 1”, RIA Novosti reports.

According to him, taking into account the sanctuction pressure of the European Union and analysis on enterprises that are in the sanctions lists, a more creative supply matrix was compiled to Europe. At the same time, he noted that on goods and services that restrictions will not affect, there are no fall.

Now the security by export deliveries for 2022 is about 50 percent, stressed the deputy head of the administration of the head of state. At the same time, according to the export groups under sanctions, according to experts, this is approximately 250-300 million dollars a year, it is expected to decline, he added.

Previously, the steep stated that Belarus covers losses from sanctions at the expense of low gas prices from Russia. “If there are more than a thousand dollars in European gas markets today, and we have $ 128.5 [for a thousand cubic meters], this is a huge competitive advantage,” said the Belarusian official.
