It became known about the fate of Russians detained on board the ship in the port of Dunkirk in France: one of the seafarers in custody, the other was released under a subscription of the unseen. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the message of the Russian Embassy in France.
“Keep on the control of the situation with Russian sailors detained on the ship in the port of Dunkirk. According to the French competent authorities, one of them is taken into custody, the second is released on a subscription of the unseason,” said the press service of the diplomatic confinement.
However, investigative actions continue to both Russians. The embassy added that the rest of the information was not disclosed in the interests of the investigation.
The detention of the ship with the Russians reported on October 5. The newspaper La Figaro wrote that more tons of cocaine cost “several tens of millions of euros” on board the ship. According to a source close to the investigation, the ship under the Liberian flag should be from Brazil to one of the North European ports.
