Golden coin with a denomination of 10 thousand pounds of sterling and a diameter of 20 centimeters was the crown of the “Beasts of the Queen”. The coin depicts Elizabeth II surrounded by ten real and mythical animals, including a lion, griffin, falcon, bull, yel, greyhound, dragon, unicorn and horse. The “Beasts of the Queen” collection is dedicated to ten stone statues on the path of Elizabeth to Westminster Abbey during her coronation in 1953. The first coin “English Lion” was released in 2017.

“Our giant coin establishes a new standard of chasing, combining centuries-old techniques with innovative technologies to create a unique and beautiful work of art,” says representatives of the coin court.

The manufacture of an instance has gone 400 hours. Part of the works of the master were performed on the machines, part – manually.

According to the royal chaschers, the cost of the coin can be found only by applying for its acquisition.

In 2019, a resident of St. Petersburg tried to sell a blessing coin on Avito for a billion due to the same uniqueness identified by him – two sides of the coin were turned to each other exactly 90 degrees. Numismatists rated this find in 200 rubles.
