Putin announced adjustment of public sector salaries for sake of reports

Russian President Vladimir Putin, at the beginning of his meeting with the government, criticized the practice of adjusting the salary indicators for public sector employees, designed to ensure that formal requirements were met in the reports, RIA Novosti reports.

According to him, very often making ends meet is possible only through tricks, and the real incomes of citizens remain low. He recalled the complaint of a scientist from Novosibirsk, Anastasia Proskurina, who complained about a salary of 26 thousand rubles a month, although she should have about 80 thousand.

The head of state instructed the government and the regions to quickly and carefully study the issue of salaries for state employees and solve the problem with income in the social sphere.
