The situation with the spread of coronavirus in Russia has generally stabilized during the New Year holidays. This was told by RIA Novosti chapter Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko .
However, according to him, the situation is still tense, daily coronavirus infection COVID-2019 is diagnosed in about 24 thousand Russians. At the same time, only 211.6 thousand citizens are in hospitals, 82 percent of patients are treated on an outpatient basis.
Vaccination continues in all regions of Russia. Murashko said that the production volumes of the Sputnik V vaccine are growing, at the moment more than 1.5 million doses of this drug have been released into civil circulation, as well as more than 45 thousand doses of the second vaccine EpiVacCorona.
Over the last 24 hours in Russia detected 24,217 new cases of coronavirus infection, most of all in Moscow and St. Petersburg. 445 patients died. Another 23,055 people were discharged from the hospital.
