Moscow responded to words about inadmissibility of Russia’s victory over coronavirus

First Deputy Chairman Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Vladimir Dzhabarov responded to the words of the British Ambassador to the United States Karen Pierce about unwillingness to concede to Russia and China in the victory over the coronavirus, reports RBC.

According to the senator, now is not the best time to sort things out between countries in this way. He added that the world needs to unite and use any vaccines, and not try to oppose one drug to another.

“At the moment when it is necessary to think about a joint fight against the pandemic, they are again engaged in political squabbles. They, thinking about the consequences, ponder how to contain Russia and China, and yet human lives are at stake. We call for cooperation, and they – to disunity, – noted Dzhabarov.

Earlier, Karen Pearce said that one of the main challenges was the strategic struggle with Moscow and Beijing. She believes that none of these countries should emerge victorious from the pandemic. Pierce urged “more open” countries to act and develop to thrive after the end of the COVID-19 period. In this regard, she recommended the United Kingdom and the United States to unite.
