On Saturday, the Courchevel skier managed to relegate the Croatian Filip Zubcic at 1 sec 26 and the Swiss Loïc Meillard, despite being better time of the first round, at 1 sec 65.

Already leading the general classification of the World Cup (all race formats combined) before this weekend, he widens his lead a little further on his pursuers with 115 points more than defending champion Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, 5 th on Saturday. “I’m really very happy. This time, I wanted to attack on the second round, whereas yesterday I had to manage a little more”, explained Alexis Pinturault, on the podium for the 33 th victory of his career.
