Lawyer made a stream during storming of Capitol and lost his job

American lawyer Paul Davis (Paul Davis) arranged a live broadcast during the storming of the Capitol by supporters of the US President Donald Trump and lost his job. The New York Post writes about it.

An employee of one of the insurance companies in Texas came to the Republican rally wearing a cap with the inscription Make America Great Again (“Let’s make America great again”, the campaign slogan of the incumbent head of state). During the stream, the American complained that he was hit in the face with tear gas.

He also spoke about the demands of the protesters: “All we want is for our civil servants to conduct an audit of the elections. Check the counting apparatus, examine the ballots themselves.” In his opinion, if the elections were fair, the competent authorities would allow to double-check the voting results.

The lawyer then announced that the protesters were trying to infiltrate the Capitol, and showed himself against the background of other Trump supporters and police officers in protective uniforms in front of the building.

Davis’ live broadcast was brought to the attention of journalist Roger Sollenberger at Twitter . “This is Paul Davis. Paul is a lawyer. He is also Deputy General Counsel and Director of Human Resources at Goosehead Insurance. Today he stormed the Capitol building in an attempt to stage a coup against the US government, and documented it (!) On Instagram,” he wrote.

After a while, a message appeared in the Twitter -account of the company there was a message that Davis no longer works for the organization .

On January 6, Republican protesters stormed the Capitol building and surrounded the Senate Hall. The Senate and the House of Representatives interrupted a meeting at which it was planned to approve the results of the last elections. According to these data, the Democrat Joe Biden won the presidential elections. During the protests, four people were killed and the police detained nearly 70 rioters.
