A fisherman found two poods of cocaine in sea

In the US state of Florida, a fisherman found 33.7 kilograms (just over two poods) of cocaine, according to KOKI-TV.

The fisherman noticed packages of drugs floating on the sea when he was fishing 24 kilometers south of Shugalouf Key. The cocaine was pressed into waterproof briquettes featuring a penguin from the Madagascar cartoon.

The man immediately contacted the deputy sheriff and informed him of the find. All discovered packages were fished out of the water and loaded into the boat of the law enforcement officer. Since the cocaine was in federal waters, it was then handed over to the US Border Control Service.

Earlier it was reported that on December 12, on the public beach of the resort town of Palm- Beach found 32 kilograms of cocaine. It was packaged in the same briquettes with a penguin from Madagascar.
