Belarus announced signing of all oil contracts with Russia by end of year

The Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko announced the signing of all oil contracts with Russia before the end of the year in an interview with the Belarus 1 TV channel, reports RIA Novosti .

As Golovchenko said, the process of signing contracts with Russian oil suppliers is already underway. At the same time, agreements for the next year have already been concluded with a number of large suppliers, separate conditions are being agreed with others. “I am sure that by the end of the year absolutely all contracts for the supply of oil to the Republic of Belarus will be signed,” he concluded.

At the beginning of 2020, the countries could not agree on the volume and cost of fuel supplies from Russia to Belarus. The controversy was resolved after Moscow agreed to grant Minsk a discount of $ 15.7 per tonne from previous prices.
