93 APU tanks disappeared in Donbass

Special Monitoring Mission Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Ukraine noticed the disappearance of dozens of tanks and other heavy military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Donbass. This became known from the report published on the official website mission.

As noted in the document, following the monitoring on December 21, the mission staff recorded that there were 28 T-64 tanks at the location of the assigned heavy weapons in the Kiev-controlled Donetsk region. At the same time, another 93 T-64s were missing. It was also not possible to find 14 self-propelled howitzers – eight 152-mm 2S3 “Akatsia” and six 122-mm 2S1 “Gvozdika”.

The Military Business portal notes that the absence of such a quantity of equipment may indicate the preparation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the start of large-scale hostilities in the region.

December 22, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Deputy Head of the Ukrainian Delegation of the Contact Group for Conflict Resolution in Donbass Alexey Reznikov reported that due to the conflict in the region, the country lost tens of billions of dollars. According to him, in Kiev, financial losses from the conflict in Donbass were estimated at more than $ 100 billion.

Prior to this, Alexey Arestovich, the advisor on information policy of the Ukrainian delegation in the contact group on Donbass said that the likelihood of a full-scale war in Ukraine is negligible after the military exercises that took place this year.
