Asymptomatic cases of coronavirus found in a Chinese city without infected

Asymptomatic cases of coronavirus were found in Chinese Beijing, where there have allegedly been no infected lately reports Xinhua News Agency .

The city council reported two new cases of COVID-19. One of them is a 34-year-old man who took a nucleic acid test for infection before flying to another city. The result was positive and the man was immediately isolated. He is now under observation in a special medical facility.

The second case of infection without symptoms was found in a man working in a restaurant. He is also undergoing treatment, but at a different hospital. In total, they have recently contacted 504 people. Now they are all taking tests for infection.

Earlier, the Chinese media have repeatedly emphasized that, in general, Beijing has bypassed the first wave of the pandemic, and the city coped with the situation perfectly. Recently, the authorities have not recorded cases of virus infection there.
