Sony will recall Cyberpunk 2077 from stores

Sony will withdraw from the PlayStation Store the game Cyberpunk 2077, for the quality of which the developers have previously apologized. This is posted on Twitter of the company.

“SIE (Sony Interactive Entertainment) is committed to providing a high level of customer satisfaction, which is why we are offering a full financial refund to all gamers who purchased Cyberpunk 2077 through the PlayStation Store,” the text reads. The platform owners indicated that sales will be discontinued until further notice.

Previously, the manufacturers apologized for the quality of the game, which the owners of consoles had to face the last generation. So, journalists and gamers stated that Cyberpunk 2077 is not optimized to run on old consoles, and criticized the game. Users reported experiencing low frame rates, texture rendering errors, and UI errors when playing on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The game has been developed since 2013 by CD Projekt RED studio. Its release was postponed several times.
