On these days, flags will be lowered in the city, entertainment and concert events and sports competitions will be canceled.
Gennady Kernes died at the age of 62 in the Berlin clinic “Charite”, where he underwent treatment after complications from the coronavirus.
The official has not appeared in public since late August. He was diagnosed with coronavirus and bilateral pneumonia. At the same time, he was re-elected mayor of the city for the third time in the local elections held in Ukraine on October 25.
