Man spent more than a day on a huge tattoo in form of a birthmark for his son

The man made a huge tattoo in the form of his son’s birthmark so that the child felt more confident in his body. A related story appeared on Lad Bible.

Derek Prue, a resident of Stony Plane, Canada, said he once noticed that his eight-year-old son was very worried about a large brown spot on his torso. In particular, the child began to refuse to take off his shirt in the pool. “He was always proud of his birthmark, and then I saw that he began to hide it,” the man explained.

Prue decided to apply the same stain on his body so that his son felt that now “he is not alone.” However, the hero of the material did not expect that the work of the master would take more than a day – or nine sessions in the tattoo parlor.

“I thought one session was enough. But the planned three hours turned into about 30. The first session, in my opinion, lasted about four hours. I did not look at what happened and decided that in four hours everything would be ready. After this time I asked if the work was finished, to which the master replied: “I almost finished with the sketches”, – said the man.

“But it was worth it. On a recent visit to the pool, I showed my tattoo to Derek Jr. I took off my shirt and showed him that I have exactly the same mark as his. He was happy to see it.” , – added a Canadian.

Tattoo artist Tony Gibert shared his impressions of this story. “This tattoo really influenced Derek Jr.’s daily life, giving him more confidence. It made him know that he is not the only person with such a big mark. Now it is forever. It’s really great to see him smiling.” he said.

Earlier in December, a woman made a tattoo to a sick baby for the sake of quick difference from healthy twin brother. After the mother-in-law of the heroine confused the children, giving an injection to a healthy child, the mother of twins decided to give the sick boy a medical tattoo. There is a freckle-sized spot on his ear that should completely disappear within five years.
