Small Nokia smartphone declassified

Nokia will release a small smartphone on December 15th. The publication GicmoChina informs about it.

Reporters found a mention of the device in the database of the China Telecommunications Equipment Certification Authority (TENAA). Judging by the description and photos, the device will have a plastic case, a 5.45-inch IPS-screen with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels with an aspect ratio of 18: 9. The device runs on an unknown eight-core processor with a clock speed of 1400 megahertz, has 2 gigabytes of RAM and 64 gigabytes of internal memory.

The declassified device has compact dimensions. According to TENAA, the body length of the smartphone is 149 millimeters. Also, the device will receive a five-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi support, a battery with a capacity of 2500 milliampere-hours. The Nokia phone will run Android, probably its lite version of Go. The device will be released in China on December 15.

The authors believe that the smartphone will be called Nokia C1 Plus. A distinctive feature of the gadget will be a physical button located at the end, by pressing which a medical record will be displayed on the screen. Nokia C3 presented in August had a similar function. Apparently, the device will be aimed at older users.

One of the most notable small smartphones of 2020 was the iPhone 12 mini. Apple device received 5.4-inch OLED screen, Apple A14 Bionic chip , four gigabytes of RAM, 5G support.
