An American from the state of California decapitated his two children and kept their corpses at home for five days, according to the Los Angeles Times.
According to the court, the incident took place at a house in Lancaster on the last weekend of November. 34-year-old Maurice Jewel Taylor (Maurice Jewel Taylor) cut off the heads of two older children – 12-year-old Maurice Jr. and 13-year-old Maliak. He showed their bodies to the younger sons of eight and nine years old. At the same time, he locked the boys in their rooms without food.
The incident became known after the rescuers visited the house: they checked for a gas leak at the site. They were called by Taylor’s regular client – he worked as a personal trainer and stopped communicating with him.
It is reported that the mother of the children was also in the house during the incident. At the same time, she is not a suspect in the massacre. It is separately indicated that social services were not involved in work with the family, and no one has recently called the police at this address.
Taylor faces two charges of murder and child abuse. He faces up to 57 years in prison. At the moment, the man is in custody, he can be released on bail in the amount of $ 4.2 million. The publication notes that customers have described him as a responsible person who can be relied on.
