In Kiev, on Bolshaya Vasylkivska Street, the notorious deputy was attacked Alexander Yurchenko which was held in Verkhovna Rada from the Servant of the People party, reports Channel 24.

Unknown first molested the parliamentarian, and then struck several blows. The attackers then fled in a Volkswagen car.

The incident took place in the Goloseevsky district of the capital – Yurchenko’s hometown, where he was elected to the Verkhovna Rada.

The National Police of Ukraine in Kiev announced an interception plan to find the attackers.

On September 17, Yurchenko was expelled from the Servant of the People parliamentary faction by decision of the deputies. This was preceded by an investigation by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, which notified him of suspicion of committing crimes under Articles 368 (“Taking bribes”) and 369 (“Giving bribes”) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau caught Yurchenko’s assistant on a large bribe. Law enforcers found out that the deputy asked to give him 13 thousand dollars for making proposals to the bill, and in the future – another 200 thousand dollars to bribe people’s deputies.

Soon, 3 million hryvnias (about 7.5 million rubles) of a pledge “caring people” were paid for it.
