Samsung will not bundle its flagships with a free charging adapter, reports the Brazilian edition of Tecnoblog.
As it became known from documents published on the website of the Brazilian Communications Agency (ANATEL), the Korean company has registered three devices under the names SM-G991B / DS, SM-G996B / DS and SM-G998B / DS. Reporters believe that Samsung has issued a permit for the sale of new flagships – Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra, respectively. The description of the devices indicates that each of them will not have a charging adapter and headphones in the kit.
Thus, Samsung may abandon the practice of bundling phones with free accessories following Apple . The American company announced its decision to remove the adapter and headphones from the iPhone box – both new and old models – in October.
Journalists believe that in this way Samsung also intends to save on the production of smartphones, which should be released in early 2021.
