Biden presented a candidate for post of head of Pentagon

President-elect of the United States Joseph Biden presented a candidate for the post of head Ministry of Defense of the country. He will nominate retired General Lloyd Austin for this position. Biden’s headquarters reported this in Facebook .

“I witnessed the character of General Austin. He shares my belief that we are stronger than all, when we lead not only by example of strength, but also by the strength of example,” the publication says. If approved, Austin will become the first black man to head the Pentagon .

The previously elected head of state named a candidate for the post of Minister of Finance. It was the ex-head of FRS Janet Yellen . “No one is better prepared to deal with this crisis,” the politician said. Biden called Yellen one of the most important economic thinkers of our time.

The US presidential election was held on November 3. The counting of votes is still ongoing, but Biden has already declared himself the winner. The current president Donald Trump does not agree to put up with his loss and accuses his opponent of large-scale fraud .
