This is how he commented on the searches by representatives of Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) of the Hungarian community in Transcarpathia … The situation is close to explosive, the expert noted.

He added that Kiev washes to send a police or army contingent to Transcarpathia, local organizations will oppose. At the same time, according to him, because of the relief of Transcarpathia, it will be easier for the locals to wage a partisan war there or to defend themselves. The region will be supported by Europe, Hungary and NATO , Semchenko is sure.

The conflict in Donbass has been going on for over six years. In April 2014, the Ukrainian authorities launched a military operation against the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics, which proclaimed independence from Kiev after a coup d’etat in the country. The 2015 Minsk agreements provide for a constitutional reform coordinated with representatives of Donbass in Ukraine, local elections, and the provision of a special status to the region.
