28-year-old mother gave birth to a child conceived 27 years ago

A child was born in the USA, conceived 27 years ago, reports the website of the Good Morning America TV show, broadcast on the American channel ABC .

In February, a frozen donor embryo, stored since 1992, was transplanted to the mother, 28-year-old Tina Gibson. The pregnancy went well, and at the end of October a newborn girl was born, named Molly Everette.

Experts believe that this is the first case of the birth of a child whose embryo has been frozen for so long. The last record belongs to another daughter of Tina Gibson, three-year-old Emma Wren, who was born in 2017 from a fetus that has been frozen for 24 years.

In 2018 it was reported that in the USA three pairs of twins were born 15 years apart. Their biological mother, 53-year-old Mary Johnson (Marie Johnson) about 16 years old back underwent in vitro fertilization. With the help of specialists, they managed to obtain many embryos. Two were transplanted to her, and another 12 were frozen for possible further pregnancies.
