Wife of a Dubai sheikh cheated on him with a security guard for two years and fled to London

The Jordanian princess Haya bint al-Hussein cheated on her husband for two years with her British guard, 37-year-old Russell Flowers. To hide from the sheikh’s wrath, she had to flee the country, according to the Daily Mail.

In 2004, Princess Haya, who was then 30 years old, married the billionaire and Emir of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum. Flowers, 33, formerly in the Royal Regiment of the Princess of Wales, became her guard in 2016.

Their romance began in the same year. The princess showered Flowers with expensive gifts: among other things, he received from her a wristwatch worth 12 thousand pounds sterling (1.2 million rubles), an antique gun for 50 thousand pounds sterling (5 million rubles) and a ring with a signet and a ruby ​​embedded in the engraved it bears the coat of arms of the Flowers family.

Flowers and Princess Haya’s relationship lasted two years. To prevent the former security guard from speaking out, she paid him 1.2 million pounds (121 million rubles). The same amount was received by three of Flowers’ colleagues who knew about her romance.

Flowers’ wife since the end of 2016 suspected her husband of treason. She noticed that the princess was sending him pictures of herself, including in a swimsuit. In addition, Flowers updated his wardrobe, began to take care of himself and work with a personal trainer. Another piece of evidence was a pack of condoms that his wife found in his purse.

In the summer of 2017, Flowers and his wife broke up. During the divorce proceedings, it turned out that he spent 16 thousand pounds (1.6 million rubles) on gifts for the princess from his credit card. Among other things, the guard bought Haye expensive Louboutin shoes.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum also suspected his wife of infidelity. Princess Haya began to fear for her life and fled to London with her two children. The British High Court sided with her. She now lives in London in a £ 85 million (RUB 8.6 billion) mansion.

Earlier, Princess Haya claimed that the reason for flight was the intention of Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum to marry their 11-year-old daughter Jalilah to the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman.
