A complaint filed in March 2020

This is not the first time that the singer has highlighted the cyberbullying of which she is the victim. In February 2020, during the 35 es Victoires de la Musique, she kissed a dancer at the end of her interpretation of “love censorship”, a song that denounces homophobia and the demonstration for all. Had enlisted a wave of homophobic insults and death threats on social networks, pushing her to file a complaint in March 2020 for acts of moral and sexual harassment “in pack”, “threats of death and rape” , aggravated insults and provocation to hatred.

A little more than a year later, in April 2021, the singer had to face sexist remarks made by Fabien Lecovre. On the Arts-Mada webradio, the columnist had judged hospital “frightening”, throwing “you put a Hoshi poster in your room, you?”. Recognizing him an “indisputable talent”, he said that it would be preferable “that she gives her songs to sublime girls”. He then presented “a thousand excuses” on Twitter For “these clumsy words”, but assuming “relates simply an era difference when record companies and audiences were much more attention to artists’ physics”.

At the end of his message on social networks, Hoshi challenges the State and Emmanuel Macron. “I who love my country so much, I have just lost faith in his justice,” she wrote. “Save us as long as there is still time, do not wait until it ends badly before you are interested in the files.” The singer’s publications have received many reactions, especially those of public figures. “It’s shameful we should all do something,” said singer Benjamin Biolay. “With you. Fort.” Replied Juliette Armanet, while Eddy de Pretto, also a victim of cyberbullying, reacted with an emoji heart.
