After all union organizations which, for the first time in twelve years, called to demonstrate together for a “powerful mobilization over time” against pension reform, it is up to the branch unions to announce their mobilization .

The CGT unions of the petroleum branch called for several strike movements on January 19 and 26 as well as February 6 with, “if necessary, the cessation of refining facilities”, according to a statement released Thursday, January 12 Eric Sellini, national coordinator of the union for totalnergies.

The call will lead to “flow cuts” and “the judgment of expeditions”, said Sellini. On February 6, a “renewable strike with, if necessary, the cessation of refining facilities” will be “offered to employees”, explains the CGT.

“The departure of a powerful mobilization”

The movement must start with a first judgment of the twenty -four hour work on January 19 – the day of the national interprofessional mobilization. For January 26, the CGT calls for forty-eight hours of strike, then seventy-two hours on February 6.
