Hackers Steal Over $211 Million in Crypto Projects and NFTs
According to cybersecurity firm PeckShield, hackers conducted 26 attacks on various crypto projects in March, resulting in the kidnapping of digital currencies worth over $211.5 million. They also stole non-fungible tokens (NFTs) valued at $10.9 million.
The biggest heist was carried out against Euler Finance Defi platform, where hackers managed to make off with approximately $197 million in cryptocurrencies. However, the stolen funds were later returned, according to reports.
Cryptocurrency theft has been a notorious problem for the industry in recent years, as hackers continually devise new ways to exploit vulnerabilities. This has resulted in many companies turning to cybersecurity solutions to safeguard their assets.
